I would be nice if the software auto-copied the Discord screenshot link to the clipboard

Would love a way to hide the application window. A tray icon with a shortcut to the webpage would be great.

I just started using this tool (it works wonderfully) but I have one question about what it is doing. When the webhook sends the messages that it sends, it ends up sending 2 images; the screenshot, and a second, lower quality image with a giant watermark on it. Is that supposed to happen?

I love DAU and it works perfectly for screenshots. I use the xbox PC program to take my screenshots and clips. Both go into the same D:\captures folder.

I would like to have DAU also upload any .mp4 files that get added to D:\captures, like it does for screenshots.

When I take a clip, no logs are generated in the console, I assume because the program is not set to look for that file type.

I dont know if this is a feature already, but the bot uses modification date, I was wondering if it was possible to go off of creation date instead, I have a bot that downloads memes from discord servers and uploads it to mine, but the modification date is the original time, not time from download.

It would be could if it were possible to somehow set up a (bot) command that would post a random screenshot in the folder.
I'm not even sure that's possible?

Hi,i saw there was already 2 topic on support for mp4/video files,but i think we should have the option for it.Im using the ''Instant Replay" from NVIDIA and i save 15-30sec clips,yea they are around 30-50mb but i just decided to get nitro since i have to save a lot of them in a day and upload to a "proof" channel.And they dont need re-encode or editing,just the raw upload of them,since all of them are under 100mb,i can get them all of them up in the channel in the background while i keep my eyes in the game.So will be a nice option for people that need this so they dont have to alt-tab constantly or to mix their clips with other moments they save or record.

A few people have contributed, and I have not formally acknowledged that yet.

I need:

• text file in repo
• something in the web interface

For people who dont have nitro would be usefull if you can have an option to upload images higher or lower then 8mb.Sometimes i save to many pictures and the bot stops uploading because of a high size image,so if you could check the file size and if is higher then 8 then just skip,kinda option.

Is there a way this can be used for video files?

it would be nice if it was possible to whitelist other file formats from the config.
I use this tool when I'm batch generating AI images to send them when they're done to a Discord channel, and I also generate .txt files with generation parameters for every image in the same directory and it would be nice if it was possible for me to include them with the images being sent.

Wanted to build a custom build with restriction, like only upload a certain type of file name and with or without check data modification.
But during building I had that issues and unsure what the proper dependency is :

for some strange reason this wonderful applet stopped uploading images to my discord channel/server, i tried resetting it reinstallin it even a different webhook but nothing

Using https://github.com/fsnotify/fsnotify it's possible to do cross-platform watching for changes, which would make it react faster.

I've been trying to find a solution that would upload to imgbb then get the direct link url of the image on imgbb onto the discord channel. I've been trying all sorts of automation tools like Make and Pipedream and can't get them to work...
I just wanted to let you know may be my use case is very specific but could also be a nice feature to request.

the expected output on the discord channel would be formatted to "[imgbb image direct link url] [imgbb image direct link url]"
So that the image shows as an embed and shows the url as text that can be copied from the discord message.

So, I recently downloaded this program, and have been able to get things working using the .bat file, but haven't had any luck getting the .exe file to run. I want to do that because I want to be able to turn off the water markings on the image, and there isn't an option to do that in the .bat file.

I don't have any log files or anything to share (I know that you might not be able to help without them, and that's fine. Just figured I would reach out). But what will basically happen is I will click the .exe file, and then it will flash up in the task bar for just a blip and then disappear. Do you know what this might be happening? It also won't let me go to http://localhose:9090 to configure anything, which I figure that's because the .exe file isn't opened.

Any tips? I haven't tried compiling the code myself yet because I don't know too much about all of that. But if you help me out in any way, I would appreciate it.

if you have multiple pcs on the network and have to open ports on your pc set the IP on the device you are trying to get photos from
to send in a discord.
so you don't have to start or think is it up the server pc will run it for you.
and don't have to tell hey get this app to auto send photos for you.

-if can make it work with IP's, Could you find the file path of consoles? and auto send them.

I would love to see an option to either have multiple instances watching mutiple folders, uploading to their own webhooks, or having one instance with mutiple folder/webhook pairs.

Added option to ocr image to text and attach when sending to discord! This will make it easier to find photos that contain a certain content so that users can easily find the image they want among many other photos! please make it work!

I would like to remove the watermark on the image, but I don't know how to use the "--no-watermark" field in my "dau.bat" file.
How do I indicate it please?

I have two feature requests...

The option to put a message along side of the picture sent via webhook as well.
Perhaps allowing us to point to certain txt files in order to set the message being sent..

i would also like to request a way to queue the update/upload via url instead of an auto update..

example : program would sit idle, until going to localhost:9090/upload is triggered, which would cause the program to view folder and see if anything new is there, then upload it as normal

would it work including mp4 in the extension list? (no watermark of course)

Currently, the "watcher" sees any recognized image file, discards the image file name, and uploads the image to discord as "image.jpeg", regardless of the source file.

Feature request:
An image file titled "tester12345.jpg" will be uploaded to discord and retain its file name of "tester12345".
