As with all other repositories, this one shall be migrated.

• move to Gitlab, mark as archived, protect branches,
• update Webu configuration to deploy from Gitlab,
• change the backup store to Gitlab
• archive this repository

After the plugin update the link to add class has disappeared from the front page.

Hi,

I think the e-mail addresses should not appear in clear on the Device Server catalog web pages to limit the risk of spam for the authors of the different classes.
Using a syntax like: "at maildomain.org - author" for an e-mail address like [email protected] could help reducing the spam.
This is what is done in the POGO generated documentation.

Hi @andygotz , it seems I do not have access to classes catalogue repository. Could you please give me the rights :). There is no hurry with it. Thanks in advance, Br.

It may simplify re-deployments and upgrades if the app will be provided as python package and not as part of webpage source.

Following Olga discussions at Desy it would be nice have usage statistics of device classes...

It would be useful to store uploaded .xmi files on a github for backup.

Provide possibility to upload and show a picture (for example hardware) for a device server.

It would be useful to assign multiple families to a class. This way confusions could be resolved.

reading the repositories of tango-controls, I've noticed there is no README.
By curiosity, what is the goal of this soft?
