Hello,

I have followed the steps you mention to extract a labeled flow file using the ISCX 2012 data set.

Using as input to the ISCX FlowMeter the file: testbed-12jun.pcap i get as output the flow file .

The issue here is that the output file is not labeled, unlike the xml outputs they provide in:

http://205.174.165.80/CICDataset/ISCX-IDS-2012/

I can use the xml outputs they have with your notebook (all good), but i am concerned about how to obtain the labeled xml file in first place.

I start experimenting with TShark (instead of ISCX FlowMeter) now to see if i can get the labeled file.

Any advice on why i can't get a labeled output?

When you transfer the dataset to .npy format on the Data_Extractin_Revised.py, only destinationPayloadASUTF can affect the result(normal or abnormal). I want to know the reason and why the Parameter actual is 7500. Could you give me an answer? Appreciate very much!!!

When i run xml extract.py file on terminal show this no npy file saved.

It appears as though the python script xml data extract.py is not saving the extracted data to .npy files. Rather, it is simply printing the destination. Any ideas?

TestbedThuJun17-1Flows.xml not open

After converting into .xml files, how will you convert it into 2-D so that it can be given as input for ML algorithm. I have never done this so please help.
