This plugin does not cooperate with the popular Emmet plugin. If you edit HTML file in this editor, you'll find yourself not able to use tab key to invoke Emmet.

I am working on an eclipse plugin which includes an html editor as a page in a MultiPage Editor.
I tried to extract a jar from your source and add it to my project's dependency, then use the HTMLConfiguration file, but it throws a NullPointerException at this line.

setSourceViewerConfiguration(new HTMLConfiguration(HTMLPlugin.getDefault().getColorProvider()));

I believe this is caused because the Preference Store is not initialized in my project with the appropriate variables. Thing is, I don't need configurable editor, just a simple one.

Could you help me in adding this to my project. It would be really helpful.

After installing this plugin, when I switched from internal browser of Eclipse to text editor page, I found I was not able to edit any text - the text editor simply don't respond to any keyboard inputs! I had to click the menu and select something like Preferences, close the Preferences popup window and the editor resumed to function again.

It just stopped myself being productive. I uninstalled the plugin and found nothing could be better, as I regained control of text editing, though again I have to work with a plain text editor without syntax highlighting.
I hope this issue can be fixed and there's no more keyboard interruption. You are recommended by some bloggers so you may have to live up to that, anyway. Thanks for your attention and efforts!
