FYI I have create RPM (Fedora, RHEL, Centos, ...) packages of swoole extension and will try to keep them updated.

Yes. The swoole-1.6.7.tgz is bad. It can not build.
There are some errors in the package.xml file.
I will fix it as soon as possible.

Please use the "pecl package" command to generate the official tarball.
The current archive contains various .o files which break the build (especially on non-x86_64 arch)
