Hey,
i'm trying to get your python3 script running but i'm running into this Exception and i'm pretty lost from here.

Do you have an idea what the problem is?

I hope that I am not completely wrong with my request here, since this is probably more about problems with the project.

The script bmsinfo.py works fine for me. Thank you very much! I don't manage to use ist with Node-Red. I was able to establish a Bluetooth connection with Node-Red. I can also send a command and end the connection again.

But I can't get it to read and display the values.

Can anyone help me?

I try to connect to my SmartBMS the way you mention but I reciev an error:
sudo python3 bmstcp.py A4:C1:38:06:BC:A6 9998
[A4:C1:38:06:BC:A6] Connecting
[A4:C1:38:06:BC:A6] Connection failed: Input/output error

I am able to connect using gatttool:
sudo gatttool -i hci0 -b A4:C1:38:06:BC:A6 -I
[A4:C1:38:06:BC:A6][LE]> connect
Attempting to connect to A4:C1:38:06:BC:A6
Connection successful

Any idea what I could do?

Hi. I'm really new, need some help
after execute: sudo python3 bmstcp.py A4:C1:38:17:FA:44 9998

I get:
File "/home/pop/bmstcp.py", line 8

^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

It seems there is something wrong with the temperature. Also when the temperature is below 0, there are no values any more.

Hi there, thanks for your great work.
Is it possible to include the SOC (State of Charge) into the code?
Or do i have to calculate it by my own out of the Battery Voltage?
