Performance
When drawing to the screen, the CPU slows down.
This is more noticeable when collapsing the window.
When the window is focused, the CPU usage sits at 100%, meanwhile when not focused, the CPU usage is free to run to 200%.
Sprite drawing is broken
Running the lotto example, it's clear that something is broken with sprite drawing.
