A beautiful weather app for iOS and Android built with React Native.

As of March 31, 2023 this project is no longer actively maintained.

Setup

  • Clone the repo and ensure yarn is installed
  • cd breeze
  • yarn to install dependencies
  • Sign up for Dark Sky and Google Cloud Platform to get API keys for each
  • Create a file called .env in the project root with the following contents: 
    DARK_SKY_SECRET_KEY=(your Dark Sky API secret)
GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY=(your Google Maps API key)
  • yarn start to run the bundler
  • react-native run-ios or react-native run-android to run on a simulator or devices
