You can also use :help aerial.refetch_symbols after you change the config options

Slotos avatar Slotos commented on May 28, 2024
vim.iter(vim.api.nvim_list_bufs()):each(function(bufnr)
  require('aerial.data').delete_buf(bufnr)
end)

A more optimized version could probably become a part of a setup call.

seems like calling require'aerial'.refetch_symbols(0) while the symbol tree is open throws an error "attempting to index a nil value in aerial/init.lua:293 function refetch_symbols"

from aerial.nvim.

You may need to update aerial. The line in that error message indicates that you aren't on the most recent version

same error but now line 321

That indicates that there is no supported aerial backend for the buffer you're passing in. You're using 0, which means the current buffer. Which window/buffer is your cursor in when you call this function?

😳 my cursor was still on the aerial buffer. whoops. thanks for you time
