dotfiles's Issues

Move Finder

Hello! Thank you so much for your advice on disabling the DE and default macOS apps. You say that running sudo mount -uw / should allow you to move Finder despite the read-only System partition; however, this produces the following error for me:
mount_apfs: volume could not be mounted: Permission denied
mount: / failed with 66
Any suggestions on how to get around this would be appreciated. I also tried elevating to root with su and running the command but had the same issue; I'm on macOS Big Sur (11.1).

Remove animation when switching spaces

Hey, I just watched your Yabai demonstration video and was wondering how you disabled the animation for switching between workspaces and also set up keybinds to switch windows between spaces. I'm guessing these things might be integrated into Yabai and I'm sorry if they are, I'm not quite ready to switch to it yet but wanted to know what exactly was allowing you to do this.

cmus

Hi!

Thanks a lot for your nice examples and instructions! And thanks you pointed me to cmus ...

In this regard, a qustion: How can i set cmus to play just a single track when opening it in ranger - like mplayer for example does? The only way i see is, to add first the entire directory to a playlist (using the "5" cmd) ... (?)

TIA
