k8s-training-official's Issues

Question 47 - List the InternalIP of all nodes of the cluster.

your suggestion is using jsonpath. Can you show me the cli to do that
for me, i resolved it by using custom-columns

hadn@master-1:~/github/StenlyTU/pod$ kubectl get node -o custom-columns="IP:.status.addresses[0].address, TYPE:.status.addresses[0].type"
IP               TYPE
192.168.2.150   InternalIP
192.168.2.20    InternalIP

Q-22 Typo in answer

The corrected yaml is

apiVersion: apps/v1
kind: Deployment
metadata:
  name: blue1
spec:
  replicas: 5
  selector:
    matchLabels:
      run: nginx
  template:
    metadata:
      labels:
        run: nginx
    spec:
      containers:
      - image: nginx
        imagePullPolicy: Always
        name: nginx
      affinity:
        nodeAffinity:

              nodeSelectorTerms:

                - key: color
                  operator: In
                  values:
                  - blue

PR Preferences

I have some corrections/additions I'd like to make. Would you prefer a PR per item or a single PR?

Question 41

Hi,

Thanks for providing these questions to help with the preparation for CKA exams.

I noticed namespace is being provided for the creation of clusterrole and clusterrole binding resources in question 41. I believe since these are cluster scoped resources, it will not be necessary to provide the namespace.

Problem with question 22

there is mistype content of yaml file

The correct content yaml should be:

apiVersion: apps/v1
kind: Deployment
metadata:
  creationTimestamp: null
  labels:
    app: blue
  name: blue
  namespace: cka
spec:
  replicas: 5
  selector:
    matchLabels:
      app: blue
  strategy: {}
  template:
    metadata:
      creationTimestamp: null
      labels:
        app: blue
    spec:
      affinity: # => miss indent
        nodeAffinity:
          requiredDuringSchedulingIgnoredDuringExecution:
            nodeSelectorTerms:
            - matchExpressions:
              - key: color
                operator: In
                values:
                - blue
      containers:
      - image: nginx:1.18-alpine
        name: nginx
        ports:
        - containerPort: 80
        resources: {}
status: {}
