Hi Stefan,

I am using this extension in one of my dashboard and want to achieve this:-

-- When Button width is set to "Full Width" , I want the lable text to be aligned to left (instead of center as it is now).

Could you please point me to the .css and/or .js file I must update?

when using the expression editor to select the field name to make a selection via action, the field name appears as = which doesn't work due to the equal sign. In addition, an example on how to choose multiple values form a field via action would be helpful.

I would love to see conditional styling/coloring on the buttons.
IF (Condition = true(), 'styleA', 'StyleB')

Just heard that there are problems with sense-navigation in combination with using a virtual proxy, more details to be added.

The navigation button has almost everything I need, nice work! Except, I would like to be able to adjust the size of the button to create a huge tile. Now it's only possible to adjust the width, but I would also like to adjust the hight. This way I would be able to create a dashboard with a couple of huge tiles that let you navigate to specific sheets.

Also I would be nice if you could add images instead of colors!

Just to ensure re-usability of the themed button functionality, move it to sense-angular-directives. Also a good show-case how dependencies among different extensions can be handled using sense-go.

Hi Stefan,

it would be awesome when there would be any kind of saving the last sheet i was on. So my idea is, when i use these buttons from sheet number 28 for example and jump to sheet one (because this is my filter panel sheet), i need a way to get back to this specific sheet. I'm doing this via If-clause at the moment, but this isn't neat at all (and a lot of work too).

On the server we cannot install this extension. We just upgraded to v2.2.3. It was working in our previous 2.1.1 server.

It would be great to open a file from a fileshare additionaly to the navigation action "open website".

I tried to use "file:///" (at this option) but that was not working. The extension still creates a link like: "http://file///" and this does not compute.

So this feature would be great. THX

I am using your buttons to change variables and consequently change the year of the data. is there anyway of indicating which button is active, bold font or the colour of the button?

Hi,

I found that this sense-navigation button not working in single configurator. Is it not support for single configurator or i have miss out some important configuration?

There has been talk elsewhere about some bug causing import (into Sense server) of some extensions to fail, something about the extension ZIP file must not contain any .md files...?
I have failed to get an conclusive description of the bug, I have just noted in several cases that if I create my own extension from scratch on the server, then copy-paste the source code from the downloaded ZIP into my own extension, it works just fine.
So it's something about the packaging of the ZIP, it seems.

I am really thankful for your extensions. they always tickle a lot of my problems.

Can we use variables with the action (select value in field)? if not may you please please add this feature in the next version. because I think it will give us more capacity to use the extension, especially to use the output of another extension (i.e calendar extension).

Firstly, great extension you've made here, functionality is [mostly] fantastic.

However, do you know of any issues with for example the maximum number of buttons you can use in a single app? I have one app where all of the buttons work fine and as expected, however, in another some seem to take me to the specified sheet, where as others just don't do anything at all when clicked [when set up in the same way] - this is all on Qlik Sense Desktop.

UPDATE: Upon testing a bit further, I've realised that the button seems to let me go to certain pages, but not others that exist in my app.

Another thing that attracted my attention is that if i make the buttons small in editing mode (1x3 Quarters), i'm activating the button when i try to click on it even in editing mode. Is it possible to disable this behavior? it's annoying to you switch sheet if you just want to select it.

Absolutely vital - the ability to jump to another app and carry over the current selections.

Hi Stefan, good work you've done so far!!! I got a problem with your extension, i can't get my button colored. Using Sense Desktop 2.1.1 and tried in Chrome and the internal Chromium Browser. But it isn't working for me.

Hmmm, I cannot reproduce this behavior, can you please ellaborate a bit. What exactly is happening?

• Do you see the extension sense-navigation in the list of extensions?
• Can you drag & drop it into a sheet?
• What's happening then?
• Can you provide a screenshot?
• etc.

Hi, I am trying to use the buttons to change my variables vTY from 2016 to 2015, and VLY from 2015 to 2014. It's not working - the variables don't change although the page changes. I've read the info but cant see what i am doing wrong

Thanks for creating this extension! However, I can't seem to get the button to select multiple values in a field. Selecting 1 value and clearing selections works fine. I'm working with QS Desktop 2.2

Fantastic extension!!
Would it be possible to add multiple buttons in the same object, as the rendering on small screens for small and wide single objects in qliksense is not optimal:

I am able to use this extension on my QS desktop. However when imported to the server, the functionality (buttons) do not work. QlikSense suggest to check some logs. Will gather more information. Could you please confirm if this extension is available for server ?

Concatenate all files into one to reduce loading time.

Unfortunately the load fails in the QMC. I have tried fixing (manually and --fix) with ext-check but the import still fails.

I have also downloaded from the latest version link. This passes the ext-check but still the import fails.

First of all Thank you for creating this extension object. Using this I may be able to achieve a part of my requirement. I am using QlikSense Desktop 2.1.1 and this 'sense-navigation' works perfect for activating specific sheets. I am having trouble in getting the clear selection in field and select in field to work. Its a simple string that I want to be able to select and remove. The field name comes with a = sign and the value text box just has the string (eg: ATL). What am I missing?

Thanks for this awesome extension. I have created a few buttons. When selecting to navigate to a web site it works BEAUTIFULLY, however it doesn't want to work when selecting the action to go to prev/next or specific sheet.

I am working on Sense Server in the Hub. Is there something I should set up or check before this will work?

how about another Navigation Action Option for opening local files via a local link (something like "C:\Data\test.txt"). Would be pretty nice to open pdf files or jpg or even programs from qlik.

Using a reload-action would be a good show-case how to cooperation with the QRS-API from within extensions.
Different implementations are necessary depending whether to work with Qlik Sense desktop or Qlik Sense server.
Security needs to be handled in a smart way.

e.g. after entering www.google.com as URL link, the button refers to "/sense/www.google.com

i'm trying to use your Button to URL feature, but i can't put "https://" in front of the URL!
As soon as i remove this part it works. I don't know if you wanna look at this, but this is what I noticed.
