As you can easily test it yourself, when the audio switches off from the active state, there's a leap in the animation. Solve it by animating the audio 'de' scaling in its entirety.

There seems to be a default or focus-like event after clicking on a button, that assigns the next spacebar presses to re-'click' on the button
