Replace protractor with a different framework
Protractor has been deprecated by the Angular team:
angular/protractor#5502
They will support it until Angular 15 and maybe we can consider migrating to Cypress as that is the most popular framework according to the linked issue.
Upgrade to Angular 14
As of June 16, Angular has released version 14

Login and deploy commands are swapped in package.json
The swa:login and swa:deploy commands configured in package.json appear to be swapped from the usage described in the README.
The npm run swa:login command actually executes swa deploy app, while npm run swa:deploy runs swa login.
Upgrade to Angular 13
As of Nov 04, Angular has released version 13

Upgrade steps:
- Run ng update @angular/core@12 @angular/cli@12 which should bring you to version 12 of Angular.
- Angular now requires TypeScript 4.2. ng update will update you automatically.
- IE11 support has been deprecated. Find details in the RFC for IE11 removal.
- You can no longer use Angular with Node.js version 10 or older
