It'd be nice if when you click on the clock to end your turn that it highlighted the clock like a button. I wasn't confident that the clock was working until the clock actually started ticking after pressing it, but having some sort of visual indicator that you've pressed the clock would make it feel a lot better overall.

using https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/number would make it easier to input the time controls on mobile

I noticed timeRemaining{Left,Right} track the number of seconds left. most game clocks use at least tenths of a second, which is especially important for Fischer time in blitz situations
