lifelist's Issues

Bug: Localization on feedback screen

The feedback screen doesn't have localized texts. Please add localized texts wherever needed on the screen.
The "submit issue" on Settings screen isn't localized as well

Updating the README.md

Hi!
I would like to work on the README to make it more appealing

Do assign me if approved

Can't build the project

Hi, I liked this project and want to start contributing but facing this issue. Can anyone help me solve this?
Android version: 11 RKQ1.200826.002
Flutter version: 3.7.12
Dart version: 2.19.6

feature request: landing Screen

I have a suggestion to improve the app's user experience. Adding a "Landing Screen" that allows users to easily switch between the home screen and profile screen could simplify navigation. By using a provider and index, we can make the process more user-friendly without needing to use navigation service.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks.

App throwing exception despite field having correct character count

I recently encountered an issue while using the app, where even though I entered the required number of characters in the input field, the app keeps throwing an exception. This problem is preventing me from using the app effectively, and I would like to resolve it. Therefore, I have created a Github issue to bring this matter to the attention of the developers.

PS: The exception does not contain the string "first name".

Add a Done button on the add tasks modal

Currently, the user has to press the hardware back button or tap somewhere on the screen to make the modal disappear. We need to add a done button for better UX.

Ability to mark Tasks as done.

Currently, users can add tasks while creating the bucket and delete them while editing it. The user must be able to mark the task as done and keep it in the bucket.

Add localizations to the app

Localization has been added to the code. We need support for more languages. Currently we have support for English & Spanish

What's your release deployment process?

I'm curious about your release deployment process. How do you deploy your releases to production? Do you use any specific tools or platforms to automate the process? How do you handle rollbacks in case of failed deployments?

I'd love to hear about your experiences and insights in the comments. Thanks for sharing!

Proposal to Utilize flex_color_scheme and Material 3 theme for Enhanced UI Design

The project could benefit from the utilization of the flex_color_scheme package and Material 3 theme for its UI design. These tools offer a modern and unified design system that can result in a visually appealing and consistent user experience across different platforms.

The flex_color_scheme package facilitates the customization and theming of UI components, while the Material 3 theme offers an updated design language that is in line with modern UI trends. By incorporating these tools, the UI design can be enhanced and the overall user experience for the project can be improved.

Let's evaluate these options and make an informed decision on how to best enhance the UI design for the project.

Feature Request : Add priority to tasks

The tasks in the bucket must have priority. We already have a priority attribute for the task, it's just that we are not using it at the moment. It would be great to integrate that feature.

Localize the PDF

The current PDF that gets downloaded is only available in English. It would be great if that could be localized as well

Divide Tasks in two sections on Single Bucket Screen

Currently, all the tasks on the view Bucket Screen come in a single list. We can have two sections in that list, not-done and done. When user marks a task as done, it goes in the done section and vice-versa

Alert Dialog whenever user tries to delete a bucket.

An alert dialog can prevent accidental deletes. An alert dialog is already present when the user tries to clear data in the settings screen and on the single bucket details screen. We need it when he/she tries to delete a bucket

Deletion of all the tasks

Upon deletion of all tasks, either the bucket should be allowed to exits without any tasks or there should be a prompt confirming that this will delete the task.
For me the former suggestion makes more sense, and a user should be allowed to have a bucket without any tasks
