Installation

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/Spsuresh/EmployeeReviewSystem.git

  4. Set up environment variables:
    • Create a .env file in the project root.
    • Add the necessary environment variables such as database connection string, session secret, etc.
  5. Start the server: npm start
  6. Open your web browser and visit http://localhost:8000 to access the application.

Usage

  1. Create a manager account by signing up with a valid email address.
  2. Log in with your credentials.
  3. Add employee profiles to the system.
  4. Create performance reviews for each employee.
  5. Set goals for employees and track their progress.
  6. View performance analytics and reports.
  7. Receive notifications for pending reviews and goal deadlines.
  8. Log out to end the session.
