User's shiping and billing addresses not remembered after order about spree HOT 7 CLOSED

I think this is an issue. Programmers don't like to repeat code, and returning customers don't like to fill in the same address information over and over again.

A simple solution would be to pre-fill the form with user.orders.complete.last.billing_address and user.orders.complete.last.shipping_address information, right?

This is a feature request - not a bug. We need to come up with an agreed upon address book functionality. Maybe you could start a discussion on spree-user to see what people think?

Actual spree have the possibility to have a default address :

If you load spree sample, customer_id have an default address, and when you create an order in admin, you can see user address when you select an user.

The only missing part is that column ship_address_id AND bill_address_id in spree_user table are not fill when passing orders in Admin or Front, and load when passing order in Spree Front.

@kpitn exactly, and I can understand that you want to attach an Address to an Order (instead of a User), but it doesn't hurt anyone to preload the form with the last used data.

Also, the sample data is a bit misleading if the real data behaves differently. It's currently impossible to send an order to an existing customer in the admin, because the address-relation isn't stored?
