I just tried a few scenarios (wrong credentials, wrong db name, etc.) and they mostly emit an error as expected, except when an initial connection to the couchdb server can't be made (wrong port for instance). In that case, nothing happens, no signal is ever emitted and the couchdbStatus fields remains "disconnected".

We can check for that in our app, but I think it would be appropriate for this lib to emit an error after a few seconds if it can't initially connect.

Thoughts?

i set the listener code like below,

couchdbEvents.on('data', (data) => { console.log(data); });

But when i entered one data into the listened database, the listener triggered two times. can you help me solve this issue

The current code doesn't handle the case that a change in the feed runs off the end of a chunk from the http request. In this case, one or more additional chunks are required to complete the change. As-is, the attempt to parse the partial JSON fails.
