the data spaces community is in a process of adopting a range of standards for interactions with data resources. we can use these standards to share our data downloads within data spaces

DoD: understand/follow what standards are adopted by the data spaces community and understand if it puts new constraints on our infrastructure

This came up as a requirement prior to evaluating the level of harmonization of a dataset.

What conventions exist to advertise in metadata which schema is used to capture data.
Are these conventions adopted in current initiatives?

• Some formats embed the schema they are using (xsd, owl).
• For other formats (geopackage, tiff, excel) this is less obvious

Should Soilwise recommend a convention of describing in metadata which model/code lists are used.
