Cumulocity Linux agent is a generic agent for connecting Linux-powered devices to Cumulocity's IoT platform. It runs on all major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, Raspberry Pi OS, CentOS, etc.).
We came across that project and tried to install it. Thanks for the documentation, worked perfect.
However we also decided to create a Dockerfile during our installation procedure to ensure that we can easily build up and use that agent in any environment later on. We also added and simulator for modbus to show the capabilities of the agent.
As we have seen in many Customer appointments most of the gateways support Docker nowadays. Deploying via docker is much easier so maybe it is a good idea to also provide the Dockerfile within your project?
