MacOS currently ships with bash v3.2.57 and errors on that line. It'd be better to find a different solution for cross-compatibility.

This should be a relatively easy fix, as there's a version of jq available for MacOS.

I'm thinking of adding a install.sh script and making it install jq, if not already.
