About

Enabling Voice Input to augment User Experience in Integrated Development Environment.

Installing Ok Eclipse

Download & extract this ok_eclipse.zip, requires Java ( we use java version "1.8.0_151" ) on Windows machine.
Run the executable eclipse.exe inside the extracted eclipse folder.
Select Launch if a workspace dialog appears.
You will see a progress dialog initializing Ok Eclipse.
Installation is complete, if you get the below image.

And ya one more thing, please use a dedicated microphone in a noise free environment.

List conflicting commands

The commands those are easily misunderstood by the plugin.

Test plugin in Mac/Linux

user directories and other paths could cause an issue.

Place the css under edu.ncstate.csc510.okeclipse\src\edu\ncstate\csc510\okeclipse\resources and generate a copy of this in the same location where the html file is generated. Please refer to SOAnswerBuilder.write method and add a code here to write css as well.

Need for a feedback window from the plugin for the user.

Icon/ logo transparency, smooth edges and gradient color

Branding-Okay Eclipse prompts not cool

Use "Couldn't catch that!" when voice command not recognized.
Use "Listening... Fire away!" instead of "Speak now"
Use "Include progress bar when searching Stackoverflow" instead of "Not Responding"
