This repository contains a Vulkan Framework designed to enable developers to get up and running quickly for creating sample content and rapid prototyping. Add raytracing sample pointed in a recent Qualcomm blog post!

Hi,

reading (https://www.qualcomm.com/news/onq/2023/05/hardware-accelerated-ray-tracing-improves-lighting-effects-in-mobile-gaming) points to this project:

“You can build sample projects that demonstrate some of the extensions Qualcomm Technologies developed in conjunction with Khronos for Vulkan”

and later says:

The image below demonstrates shadow effects (RayQuery capabilities only) from one of the samples.

but can’t find the sample using rayquey here.. hasn’t been posted yet?

Either the sample pointer or another simple sample showing optimized/recommended raytracing code for Adreno would be nice!

0)coming soon or released already?

  1. the tech is open source or provided as precompiled library?
  2. it’s under NDA or public download? In last case can provide download link location?
  3. can add a simple sample on this repo using this tech and possible add also fsr and bilinear to compare perf/quality tradeoffs on the sample…
