IndexError: list index out of range

The error occurs when leaving the micro version activated.

When specifying global usage of a Python version for Pyenv, it creates a text file containing the version applied in the Pyenv directory. If this file does not exist, ZSHPower is raising an error as it tries to read this non-existent file.

Correction:

• Create a logic condition checking whether the file exists or not.

Add the keys in the configuration file for each application session. The value must receive a list of objects:

detect_extensions = []
detect_files = []
detect_folders = []

For example:

detect_extensions = [".pyc"] (Extensions must have a dot)
detect_files = ["requirements.txt", "tox.ini"]
detect_folders = [".mypy_cache"]

The problem is in the lines 106 and 111 . Remove the escape character.

To help with ZSHPower development, implementing a logging feature would be interesting, so when a bug happens it will be stored so the user can report the bug. This must be done in the except.

This can be done using the "logging" module.

Also add the option to view the logs via the terminal. With a command for example zshpower logs --view

This is because we are using the manual command and it generates the text automatically by the pyfiglet library in snakypy-helpers.
