An ordinary config for NixOS

Install

Note

Default gpu drivers are nvidia.
If you want to change this then edit the imports in ./hosts/Default/configuration.nix.

Using the install script

nix run --experimental-features "nix-command flakes" nixpkgs#git clone https://github.com/Sly-Harvey/NixOS.git ~/NixOS
cd ~/NixOS
sudo ./install.sh

Building manually

Important

When building manually from the flake make sure to place your hardware-configuration.nix in hosts/Default/
then change the username variable in flake.nix with your username!!
afterwards run the command below

sudo nixos-rebuild switch --flake .#Default

After new update install.sh don’t work for me anymore

What I do (step by step)
Install nixOS from usb with official installer
Chose username and password
Select London time zone
Default uk keyboard layout
Install without any desktop environment
Then after installation:

nix run --experimental-features "nix-command flakes" nixpkgs#git clone https://github.com/Sly-Harvey/NixOS.git ~/NixOS

cd NixOS

sudo ./install.sh

Chose “y” when asked for hardware conf

I also have nvidia gpu (3080) and ryzen 9th gen

Rofi launcher paths

Hi, I have a question, I am creating my own configuration and want to inspire (copy) from yours. I am wondering if ROFI launcher path have "custom" delibaratly, or is this something that I need to fix in my config to provide proper paths?
