    • About the Project

    This project was created as part of my final year module CS3IP, the project produced a website which aims to tackle problems with parking.



    Get Started

    To get started please visit smart-parking-frontend.vercel.app and create an account, from you will be logged in and are free to use the website.



    Technology Choices

  • Laravel: For the backend server which acts as an API
  • NuxtJs: For the frontend application
  • MySQL: Database used for the backend server
  • Xampp: Used as dstabase for testing on local host
  • JawsDB: Used as database for hosting
  • Heroku: Used to host server
  • Vercel: Used to host NuxtJs Application


    • Important Notes

  • To run this project on localhost, there is a lengthy procedure to go through so please access the website through the link mentioned above
  • Requires Node 16.1.3 on localhost
  • Run with npm run dev
  • Can be ran in localhost without running Laravel server in localhost
  • Link to backend API on Heroku https://smart-parking-project.herokuapp.com/
