log-viewer's Issues

Test this with some heavy load examples

When trying a 10 000 lines file it seems that the order of rows that are getting received is messed up. If we cat input.log > test.log the output in our app should be exactly the same as the file we are tail-ing (i.e. both input.log and test.log). Maybe there is a need for a backend tail that guarantees the order of lines is received correctly, i.e. make a new lib that handles that and outputs the lines in a new file. There should be no diff between the original tailed file and the new one.

Add configurable rules for parsing lines/blocks

  • Add a simple line substring detection rule (analyze each line for a specific substring and set that line in a specific block)
  • Add a marker rule (one which looks for specific markers to group the output into a block)
