in my laptop trackpad not working correctly and i can only change mouse position on screen. buttons and double click on trackpad not working

The current bug has to do something with network. So, that needs to be fixed.

Hallo allerseits,
ich hatte eure EFI vor ein paar Monaten schonmal ausprobiert und auch da hatte ich schon ein Problem mit ständigen Reboots. Das heißt, ich kann leider gar nicht erkennen, wo die Installation hängen bleibt. Meine Konfiguration ist ein klein wenig anders und zwar:

• CPU i7 3840qm
• WiFi BCM943224HMS
• Bluetooth Broadcom 20702
  Der Rest ist gleich. Als Grafikkarte habe ich auch die Nvidia Quadro K1000m.
  Wisst ihr zufällig was das Problem sein könnte? Sind es die SSDT´s? Kann es am Display liegen?

Über Rückmeldung würde ich mich sehr freuen. Finde euer Projekt super und würde über ein laufendes Catalina jubeln.

Thanks for this, i'm testing on 2570p an boot with this OC.
The major problem is no audio, i tested adding alcid=12 and others on bootargs but not work
any solution?

The problem may be with drivers that are not fully supported. But somehow the internal display has to be recognized as an internal display.

I'm not sure about this problem that this is relative with BIOS settings, but after resolve many problems during installing MacOs i get this error now

I successful installed Mojave and my question is can I copy EFI folder to installed partition?

It can't detect wifi and sound drivers

when i want to boot with this repository EFI i get this error:

in my laptop super key doesn't work correctly and when i press that. for example: super + c, that typed ç . how can i use this repository kext to resolve that?

Hello I am currently having a issue with my installer setup

I managed to make the usb bootable and load into the macos installer but it kept defaulting into Russian, I have gone thru the bios about 3 times and disabled all features/options that the guide ask to, reformatted drive, while ignoring the Russian and go about install macos it gives some error in Russian sadly, I am a US English speaker so I don't know Russian lol.
I also do have a real issue of the mouse buttons won't work, yet the mousepad does move the mouse around I am having to use external mouse to click, this was the case when I was last capable of going into the installer.

I was able to go into the installer until I did this bellow

Currently having issues setting language, I have done nvreset on all attempts I have blanked "prev-lang:kbd" so it would show the language choice and "prev-lang:kbd String en-US:0" and even done
"NVRAM -> Delete -> 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 -> Item 0 | String | prev-lang:kbd" which doing so booted then hit a gray screen with the mouse being moveable and since then its been booting on this blank screen ever since then and I am not capable of going into installer anymore on my machine

When I was going into the installer, The installer would not change the language, Anything I tried failed.
I am unsure as to why that is.

I have re-flashed bios on machine and re-done bios settings, cleared usb and repartitioned it, redid the plist config. and swaped out from MacBookPro10,1 and MacBookPro9,1 and hasn't done anything it this regard.
Was capable of atleast going into the installer but, Honestly speaking I think this may be a bios issue and as I have stated I have tried re-flashing bios and I have attempted to clear cmos.
how Hp recommends it. hold win + v and power for 3 sec and didn't show a message or anything.

Current Goals
Trying to get macos to boot while its installed on main drive then work on stuff outside of that.

The plist config that I copy and edited will be below, So most stuff I am troubleshooting won't show up on this config

currently using another machine with windows 11 to edit usb etc and also used diskpart to partition usb, using the plist editor Propertree

Using the current GenSMBIOS option 3 and using info for MacBookPro10,1 and MacBookPro9,1

If having Mac OS ignore the gpu is the better answer I am not against the idea

What have I Done?

for Nvidia on Monterey
Kernel > Misc > Security and change SecureBootModel from Default to Disabled
NVRAM > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 and change csr-active-config from 00000000 to 02080000
On all attempts and the first time I did this I was capable of going into the installer

And I have written in the Necessary id's in (SystemSerialNumber, MLB, and UUID)

and added in nvreset > add > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82

Please Give this a look, This gives info about the hardware and more on bios settings and what I used in plist.config

Looking for any help, I appreciate your time and effort. Very sorry if this causes any inconvenience, I have been working on this for 2 to 3 days and figured it would be best to get some help from people that know the machine better

Managed to some how fix the issue but the mouse button's and eithernet

after successful installing Mojave and replacing the repository EFI to mac partition, after restarting system, mac hangout on apple logo and couldn't boot

This bug makes a problem if you use the layout-id with number 12. It stucks at IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0 I assume it's due to the NVIDIA Quadro.

During boot up I get this message and it doesn't continue

So, we realised after having another dedicated tester next to us that people seem have different kinds of issues with the same model of laptop. @Bautheile has kernel panics during the installation of macOS, even after trying the new efi and we suggested that he'd try an older bios version, too bad his laptop is currently bricked after he tried to disable CSM.

And another user apparently has issues with sound

So we came to the idea to document all the issues you're having with your 8570W machine.

Let us know your issues and specs including the BIOS version on your laptops.
