This design is part of the edgy board project. It provides a highly power efficient bridge rectifier for PoE applications.

getting started

This repository uses submodules. After cloning use the command

$ git submodule update --init --recursive

to pull the submodules before opening the project with kicad.

Tests can be found in TESTS.md

needs modernization

This board does not meet the design requirements. It needs at least the following:

  1. all symbols and footprints need to come either from the KiCad native libraries or the put_on_edge submodule, or a local library.
  2. all libraries used need to be included with relative paths
  3. the footprints on the boards need to be updated (they have the old large-notch version of the connector)
  4. all footprints should have 3D models associated with them
  5. the repo needs a board.png
