Might be good to explain in the readme as well as the extension page how and what you target in the browser. What is sourced and what isn't? Does it check passwords?

Some sites where I would love to use Alex do not use input or textarea. Instead they use a div or a p with contenteditable="true". Here is a good example of this pattern:

I have no background in js or browser extensions, but if I get time I will try implementing this and submitting back to you. In the meantime please consider it a feature request.

The reviews section of Steam store pages (like this one I found at random) are a good example of this issue.
A good quickfix for this would be to have an enable / disable or an enable / disable on this site switch.
