Benford law helps in detecting the irregularity in a set of numbers. It can be used to detect fraud in image forensics(detecting whether the image is real or fake) or it can also be used to analyze inning scores of a cricketer(predicting whether that cricketer was involved in match-fixing or not).
Hello, I hope you are doing well ! First of all thanks for sharing this amazing image analysis tool I'm working on Benford's law at the moment and it's totally riveting. Unfortunately whenever I use the code you shared for image conversion to dct I get the following error.
I installed openCV and 4.5.1 and I'm on the latest version of spyder python 3.8. I've no idea where this error is coming from so I hope you can maybe help me on this issue which is quite frustrating at the moment... It works perfectly with your image named "original" when I download it but with some other pictures of mine it doesn't, maybe I missed something.
Have a nice day !
Hi @sjaishanker , I recently came to know about this crazy law (from a Netflix series!). I didn't believe this at the first place, so I planned to test on some real life data.
What you did in this repo is fantastic. I think we should gather more data from various fields (may be just for fun!) . I still don't believe in this holy cow law ππ
