html5-screensaver-node-webkit

Screensaver made with HTML5, CSS, Javascript and NodeJS driven by nwjs (node-webkit)

Usage

Download node-webkit and rename the folder to nwjs and move it into the same folder where the screen.nw folder is located.

Run .\nwjs\nw.exe screen.nw from within this directory to test the screensaver.

Folder structure:
|- screen.nw/
|- nwjs/

Windows Screensaver

Use "runscreensaver" as an Windows Screensaver. "runscreensaver" can be configured to run a command as screensaver. https://github.com/sinky/runscreensaver

how to use screen.exe or screen.scr

When I try to run screen.exe from the command prompt, nothing happens. If I try to rename it as screen.scr, I'm able to install the screen saver. But when I click on "Preview", once again, nothing happens. Do I need to install Autoit in order to use screen.exe?

Usage instructions

Hi, Love the idea of this - I have been using node-webkit for a few kiosk apps. I would really love to create a screensaver with it but I can't seem to get it working.

I have downloaded you files from GitHub, and when I drag the 'screen.nw' file onto my local install of node-webkit the screensaver appears. I can't figure out the next step though, the .exe doesn't do anything. Could you offer any advise.

Again this is a great idea.

Hi, could you provide some more information on how to import this in Visual Studio?
I'd like to create a Windows screensaver based on my HTML TixClock screensaver but I have no experience with Windows development at all.
