Hello,

I used the latest version of this program and I tried changing the Pokémon used by the profesor and the cry on the intro scene. Also, I removed the gender option. Unfortunately, after saving, my intro screen got yellow and I can't pass it. After pressing start, it just rolls back to the "Game Freak" screen. It goes on a loop forever. What can I do? Unfortunately, I did this without a backup so I'm desesperated.

I tried to "roll back" my ROM by putting again the same pokemon and unchecking the change gender, but it still didn't work.

My version is 1.1. I understood that the main problem relies on "Music TitleScreen" and "Prof Intro" because messing with them make the intro screen going from yellow to black and I can't input commands. The others parts messing won't change anything from what I said before (intro screen yellow and rolling back to the Game Freak screen)

When I toggle the skip gender, the introscreen (with gengar and nidorino) keeps repeating.
Do you know how I can fix this?

Always tries to find INI files in C:\Hacking....

Workaround: Works if I hardcode the path

Solution: Use proper path variables

German FR has the ROM shortcut BRPD instead of BRPE, but there is no corresponding section in the INI file.

Copied the section and renamed it to [BRPD]. ROM is now loaded, but the offsets seem to be wrong (garbage data is loaded into the dropdown lists).

I know this tool is no longer in development, but I thought I should still open up an issue to document the problem anyway.
When I tried the Start Position changing feature that the program has on a clean Pokémon Emerald ROM, it didn't work on my end.
I'm using the v0.1.4, the latest version available in the Releases page of this repository.

The steps that I did were:
1) Open a Pokémon Emerald ROM with the program (sha1: f3ae088181bf583e55daf962a92bb46f4f1d07b7)
2) Hit the "Unlock" button under the "X Y" fields.
3) Set the Bank and Map to 32 and 00 respectively (the Weather Institute near Fortree City.)
4) Changed the X and Y coordinates to the desired location (X5 and Y6)
5) File > Save
6) I tested the ROM in both, VisualBoyAdvance and mGBA. The game freezes at the end of Birch's introduction.
