On Mac OS Big Sur when calling the workflow I get the error "Unable to run task!". The full error is:
Reason: Couldn't posix_spawn: error 85
The external script may not exist, or doesn't have execute (+x) permissions.

Name: 'Alfred Chrome'

Any Idea if there is a solution for this or on which files I might try to give permissions so that it works again? I already gave execute permission to the "alfred-chrome" file in this directory but that does not solve it. I haven't found any issues with other Alfred workflows on Big Sur.
After upgrading to macOS Catalina I ran into several issues with this workflow.
The first issue was
the external script may not have execute permission
To fix this issue I removed the workflow and added it again.
The second issue I received was:
“alfred-chrome” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
To fix this issue:
cd
and then dragging the directory into the terminal)chmod +x alfred-chrome
This may be a specific issue on my system but decided to open an issue to help others that may be experiencing the same issue or hopefully, this can be fixed by updating the code.
I use several applications for monitoring my system, including iStat Menus and Little Snitch.
Recently with Ventura, Alfred is now the parent process of Google Chrome, which means that it is the process showing up as utilizing all of Chrome's memory, attempting to make network connections, etc. This breaks per-application network control (I don't really want Alfred having unrestricted internet access), and useful monitoring (memory, CPU usage, etc).
This only happens if alfred-chrome is used to launch Chrome for the first time. If Chrome is already running, using alfred-chrome to launch different profiles or switch to Chrome doesn't result in this behavior.
This is a minor issue, but it's helpful for me to be able to launch Chrome with a specific profile, and this breaks that workflow a bit.
System Specs:
Hardware: 14" MacBook Pro M1 Max, 64 GB RAM
Software: macOS 13.1 Ventura, running in Reduced Security Mode (User approved kernel extensions allowed)
alfred-chrome version: 5.0.0
Happened both with previous versions, and the new v5 Rust rewrite.

Hi,
I'm getting an error while trying to use the shortcut.
Error logs in application window,
Starting debug for 'Alfred Chrome'

I am syncing Alfred preferences via Google Drive and installed Google Chrome for all users.
Thanks for this workflow, helps a lot!
I noticed that after updating macOS to Ventura 13.3.1, Chrome will crash when it is launched using this workflow and one will try to make videocall. From what I've managed to figure out, it's related to this thread: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1055831
It's about a specific way of launching Chrome when it's done using workflow and the related lack of permissions to the camera. Are you able to solve this problem?
thanks
