Error fetching stuff

Hello,
I'm not sure if this software is still supported in any way, since it's been at least 4 years, but I can't find a good alternative for it.
Anyway, I set everything up as I should, but I only get the "Error feching stuff" message. It's installed in a subfolder of the webspace, if that makes any difference.
The structure (cview/books/bookname/01/page001.jpg) is exactly as it should.
Any clue why it doesn't work?
