How about implementing a progress bar for download?

Hello,

Have a fresh OC 8.1.3, once I try to enable app from the interface I see next:

App does not provide an info.xml file

Any suggestions on what could be the reason of this issue or how I can troubleshoot it?

Cannot install this app in Owncloud v9.

the system also says:

This app has no minimum ownCloud version assigned. This will be an error in ownCloud 11 and later.

You are planning on further development of plug-ins or not? I would be quite interested and I'd be willing to further develop and solve reporting issues.

Hi,
when you select an External Share as Download target,
the File is not created at the "real" external location,
but in the "relative" location under the user directory

e.g.:
lets say my ownclod root dir is: /path/to/oc_root

my config for external share:
Musik -> /path/to/external/Musik
and I have a subfolder inside Musik called youtube

when I now select a subfolder of the external share in the youtube downloader dialog e.g.:
/Musik/youtube

the downloaded files will be created in a new folder in:
/path/to/oc_root/Musik/youtube

thats wrong, the correct path would be /path/to/external/Musik/youtube

I'm just curious why I shouldn't use apt-get to install youtube-dl as said in the Readme:
"Do not install with your package manager such as apt-get."

The apps page is white and I get this in my log:

Class 'OC\Cache\UserCache' not found at /var/www/owncloud/apps/youtubedl/controller/pagecontroller.php#45

your app works great on Owncloud 8.2.3, but the downloaded files don't show up on the webinterface. They are downloaded correctly though and using occ to scan all files adds them correctly to the file cache.

I suppose the app needs to update the file cache correctly on OC <= 8.2.

Only the admin user can download videos correctly, even audio, however the regular users get this error:
