blockycee's Issues

Issue 3: Qualification Verification

User Story:

  • As a verifier (e.g., an educational institution or certifying body), I want to review the qualifications submitted so that I can verify their authenticity.
  • As a verifier, I want to invoke a smart contract on Hyperledger Fabric to confirm the validation status of a qualification so that it gets recorded on the blockchain.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Verifier can view uploaded qualifications.
  • Verifier can invoke a smart contract to validate a qualification.
  • Once verified, the qualification status is updated on the blockchain.

Issue 1: User Registration and Wallet Creation

User Story

  • As a professional, I want to register on this platform to create a digital wallet to store and verify my formal (and non-formal) qualifications.
  • As a professional, I want my work and ability to be recognised and validated by trusted industry leaders.
  • As a professional, I want to receive a private and public key when my wallet is created so that I can securely interact with the system and provide my customers (end users) with a way of verifying my skills.

Acceptance Criteria

  • User can register with valid credentials.
  • When a user successfully registers, a digital wallet is created for them.
  • A user receives a private and public key after their wallet is created.

Issue 2: Uploading Qualifications

  • As an educational provider (and a professional), I want to provide the necessary evidence so the submitted qualifications can be authenticated.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Qualifications can be uploaded with necessary details.
  • Evidence can be attached.
  • Uploaded qualifications are temporarily stored pending verification.

Issue 4: Endorsement and Consensus

User Story:

  • As a node in the network, I want to endorse (or otherwise) the qualification transactions to achieve consensus.
  • As a node, I want to participate in the consensus process for each transaction so that the integrity of the blockchain is maintained.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Nodes can endorse transactions related to qualification verification.
  • Nodes participate in the consensus process to validate or challenge transactions.

Issue 5: Privacy and Access Control

User Story:

  • As an end user, I want to be able to publicly view a professional's verified qualification on the blockchain system.
  • As a professional, I want to have some control over how I can share this information.
  • As an organisation, I want to have control over who can edit and commit changes to the blockchain while still having everyone view the blockchain.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Professionals can share their public keys or CertificationID so the end user can search for it.
  • Only approved nodes can write, edit or commit changes to the blockchain.
  • Everyone can view the blockchain.
