Book Management System

This project is a book management system implemented in TypeScript. It provides APIs to create, update, list, get and delete books.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • MongoDB

Installing

  1. Clone the repository
  2. Install dependencies with npm install
  3. Start the server with npm start

Usage

The project provides the following endpoints:

  • POST /books: Create a new book
  • PUT /books/:id: Update a book
  • GET /books: List all books
  • GET /books/:id: Get a single book
  • DELETE /books/:id: Delete a book

Testing

Run tests with npm test
