Image API

This is a simple Ruby on Rails API for managing user information and associated images.

Prerequisites

  • Ruby 2.6.3
  • Rails 6.0
  • PostgreSQL (Make sure it's installed and running)

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/sharmajyotirmay/rails_image_uploader/tree/main
cd rails_image_uploader

Install dependencies:

bundle install

Set up the database:

rails db:create rails db:migrate

Start the Rails server:

rails s

API Endpoints

POST http://localhost:3000/api/images: Create a new image for a user.

Vue.js Client

The Vue.js client code is located in the client folder inside the root folder. Follow the instructions ## below to set up the client:

Change into the client folder:

cd client

Install dependencies:

npm install

Start the Vue.js development server:

npm run serve
