since you link against the GPL-licensed emacs-module.h, doesn't the project need to be at least as restrictively licensed too? e.g. something like

license: GPL-3.0-or-later

in the .cabal instead of BSD3?

On windows, if we use template haskell to generate emacs symbol like [esym|foo|],
ghc complains it can't find the symbol. if we use mkSymbolName instead, it works great.

Hi @sergv! I was looking for a way to represent non-null pointers for FFI and I came across your module. I'd like to ask you permission to open a proposal to upstream the NonNullPtr type and its associated allocation functions. Copyright to you would be preserved in the module meta-data.

Is this something with which you would be okay?

I just read the tests. It was disorienting.
