sncom-resources's Issues

NuGet blogpost

It was a wild and stormy night...

Write a blog post about sensenet ECM being on NuGet and about the process that led to the decision to create these packages.

Getting more done in GitHub with ZenHub

Hola! @herflis has created a ZenHub account for the SenseNet organization. ZenHub is the only project management tool integrated natively in GitHub – created specifically for fast-moving, software-driven teams.

How do I use ZenHub?

To get set up with ZenHub, all you have to do is download the browser extension and log in with your GitHub account. Once you do, you’ll get access to ZenHub’s complete feature-set immediately.

What can ZenHub do?

ZenHub adds a series of enhancements directly inside the GitHub UI:

  • Real-time, customizable task boards for GitHub issues;
  • Multi-Repository burndown charts, estimates, and velocity tracking based on GitHub Milestones;
  • Personal to-do lists and task prioritization;
  • Time-saving shortcuts – like a quick repo switcher, a “Move issue” button, and much more.

Add ZenHub to GitHub

Still curious? See more ZenHub features or read user reviews. This issue was written by your friendly ZenHub bot, posted by request from @herflis.

[Post] DMS Demo

These are all the things you can do with this DMS. And these are the things we plan for it to be able to do. What do you think?

Docs conversion script

We'll need a script that fetches every piece of documentation from our repositories' docs folders and enhances them to our unbelievably high standards.

Best practices for your first sensenet ECM project

Create a summary for those who like to try sensenet ECM but don't want to read the whole wiki for quick hints.
Parts (examples):

  • installation
  • modules of the software
  • create a content library / workplace(?)
  • set up users (?)
  • manipulate the views of the content/site

this will be a summary/guide that links to multiple wiki sites (for more details).

[Post] Why react tho?

Yeah, why? To show our fans that we are not making haphazard, foolhardy decisions, we should explain why we are such daredevils. Oh, us.

[Post] first SN7 patch, how to install it?

Write a blog post about the first patch and how to install it.

  • when do you need the patch? (in a dev environment, where the db can easily be re-created, it is not necessary - only when you want an in-place upgrade)
  • where can I find the patch? (on the release page)
  • how do I install it? (link to snadmin)
    1. stop the site
    2. execute the patch
    3. update the component package from NuGet

Tagging and document structure in community.sensenet.com

How to display different categories in the documentation? How do we tag each markdown file?
We might need an automation for tagging.

First steps

  • The generated docs for client-js are in the community site with the same skin we use
  • It is beautiful

[Post] Why JWT?

We made some choices when finally deciding on JWT. :) It would be nice to have a blog post about this decision process.
