This is the cgroups module.

Requirements

Installation

puppet module install seattle-biomed/cgroups

Synopsis

Install and manage cgroups service.

Parameters

config_ensure (Default: 'present')
config_options (Default: Empty)
package_ensure (Default: 'true')
service_ensure (Default: 'running')
service_enable (Default: 'true')

Examples

Basic Installation

include '::cgroups'

Parameterized Installation

$config_options = { option => value }

class { '::cgroups': config_ensure => 'present', config_options => $config_options, package_ensure => 'true', service_ensure => 'running', service_enable => 'true', }

Installation with Hiera

class: - cgroups cgroups::config::ensure: 'present' cgroups::config::options: option: value cgroups::package::ensure: 'true' cgroups::service::ensure: 'running' cgroups::service::enable: 'true'

cgroups::config::options wrong type?

So according to documentation "cgroups::config::options" should be as a hash.

  cgroups::config::options:
    blabla: 1
    ssadas: 5

but in the config.pp I see this

validate_array($options)

and of course I'm getting following error:

==> default: Error: {"cfs_period_us"=>"2"} is not an Array.  It looks to be a Hash at /tmp/vagrant-puppet/modules-be897c4d40d9e94dadf022aab51dab05/cgroups/manifests/config.pp:12 on node monitor01.us-east-1b.public

Is the documentation is deprecated?
