Trying to install amazon-corretto-8.202.08.2 fails with invalid URL. It looks like the cloudfront URL has changed, perhaps when they released the GA.
Because download.java.net has a certificate issue, I am unable to proceed with scoop install openjdk.

Oracle changed license for Java 11. If you go to their download page, the license links for 10 and 11 lead to different places.
Also according to Joda blog and jetbrains, Java 11 is a "commercial license", not a "free license".

Version-agnostic "oraclejre" and "oraclejre-server" entries are fact already assumed to exist here on the Scoop Java Wiki page, but the links are dead. I reported this here: ScoopInstaller/Scoop#2622
App manifests which use the script method of installation do not seem to work on PowerShell Core (6.1.3), but they seem to work fine on Windows PowerShell (5.1.17763.503). This includes Corretto and nightly AdoptOpenJDK distributions.
For example, here is the error I get on PowerShell Core when I run scoop install java/coretto8.

I did a quick test and manually edited ~\scoop\buckets\java\bucket\corretto8.json. I removed the "extract_to" and "installer" fields and added the field "extract_dir": "jdk1.8.0_212" and the installation seems to work.

I have checked and found it seems caused by unauthorized request. To workaround, certain cookie has to be attached to the request. More details can be found here.
However I failed to find a way to apply that in scoop. Is there any solution or workaround?

i don't know if this was an intentional choice but i'd request the manifest be changed to the msi version for improved compatibility.

Oracle JDK 11 is an LTS version and I think it should be available. At least I will continue to use it and it is very bad that it is not available via scoop anymore.
