pyfim's Issues

Unable to install due to encoding error

I was unable to install the package because of the following error:

"ERROR: Command errored out with exit status 1:
command: /usr/bin/python3 -c 'import sys, setuptools, tokenize; sys.argv[0] = '"'"'/tmp/pip-req-build-fbtj6z7y/setup.py'"'"'; file='"'"'/tmp/pip-req-build-fbtj6z7y/setup.py'"'"';f=getattr(tokenize, '"'"'open'"'"', open)(file);code=f.read().replace('"'"'\r\n'"'"', '"'"'\n'"'"');f.close();exec(compile(code, file, '"'"'exec'"'"'))' egg_info --egg-base pip-egg-info
cwd: /tmp/pip-req-build-fbtj6z7y/

I was able to fix it by downloading the source and changing the following line of the setup.py:
long_description=open('README.md').read(),
by:
long_description=codecs.open('README.md',encoding='utf-8').read(),

This required to import the codecs library in the setup.py script as well.

Also, in the distribution that I downloaded (pyfim-0.2.tar.gz) I had to rename the file PKG-INFO to README.md for the setup.py to properly work.

Is it possible to merge csv files?

Hello, I want to use this package for my masters thesis.
In the description it said, that it is possible to Merge individual files into experiments but I was not able to find out how. I tried merging csv files into one combined file with: (found online)

extension = 'csv'
all_filenames = [i for i in glob.glob('*.{}'.format(extension))]
#combine all files in the list
combined_csv = pd.concat([pd.read_csv(f) for f in all_filenames ])
#export to csv
combined_csv.to_csv( "combined_csv.csv", index=False, encoding='utf-8-sig')

But it didnt work out because I found a different amount of objects in my pyfim experiment after that. Also the csv files were only like stacked on top of each other and I don't think they are usable in that way.

Is there another way, to merge objects from different csv files into one experiment?
