If a selector has the transition property, it may cause a FOUC (flash of unstyled content). This can be fixed by removing the transition property, which for the minimalistic objectives of this theme is ideal anyway. Nonetheless, I want to note this issue.

This problem seems to be active on other sites too (I am accessing them on macOS with Google Chrome), particularly Jekyll's own site, which uses the transition property on links. The issue does not necessarily always manifest, but I find if you "Inspect Elements" using Google Chrome and refresh the page repeatedly, it makes it very clear.
