I set the update interval to 1 second. But from time to time there seem to be two notification services running so the real throughput flashes up and is then immediately replaced by zero

Hi, it works on Wi-Fi but when i switch to cellular data it stops working. And when i switch back to Wi-Fi it doesn't start..

It only shared "Could not get current location" and no network status.

It does display by default on the second screen. The issue is that in the camera app the second screen is used to change between manual and auto modes. Also constantly opening up the mobile networks settings when trying to change to other second screen views

A dark theme of the app would be nice, like the weather app on the picture..

tried what happens in airplane mode and apparently it consumes around 1-3% of cpu time.

Could that be avoided? I use airplane mode frequently to save power.

Throughput monitors the data of connections, and it's notification disappears when there is no more data connection.

What about adding another notification when there is no more data connection, or even no more signal at all ? (WiFi or GSM/LTE) ?

The use case is having a notification led blinking when the phone can't receives data (and even calls, which is my need), in order to quickly see if the phone became useless.

It may be because we're somewhere without signal, but in fact, in my house I don't have signal everywhere, every time and should pay attention to it.

I notice that LineageOS / Android 8.1 allows to display an icon with the throughput, but there's more details in the Throughput application, and it would be one more interest in the app to be able to monitor also the absence of connectivity. Android can vibrate when GSM signal comes or go away, but no blinking led during no signal periods.

show the name of the most active app and x others option doesnt work for me.

Great functional app, just a few typos I noticed:

• Row 1: The description text ends with a period, all other rows do not.
• Row 2: "Network type" instead of "Networktype"
• Row 3: "IPv4" instead of "IPV4"
• Row 4: "Show the number" instead of "Show the count" ("Neighbor cell count" is correct)
• Row 5: "as percentage" instead of "in procent"
• Row 6: "maximum theoretical" instead of "theoretical possible"
• Row 7: "Airplane" is one time capitalized and one time not. Better to choose one.
• Row 9: Only title with all caps.
• Row 10: Inside selection menu: "2 seconds" instead of "2 seonds"

Not much to say, app crashes right after starting it with message "Unfortunately Throughput has stopped"
Last version form F-Droid, Sony Xperia S aka Lt26i, Android 4.1.2

I'd like to have a share button in the notification to share a text describing the current network status with some other app (e.g. to whine about the poor connection on Twitter ;)).

Throughput keeps trying to acquire a location all day, draining battery.

Why do I even need the location?

It seems like this setting is incorrect. When I choose to use bits, I see my speed in "KiB". KiB are still bytes.

Solution 1: Keep displayed speed in "KiB" and show setting as "Kilo or Kibi ?" / "Power of 10 or power of 2 ?".

Solution 2: Change displayed speed unit as "kbps" / "kb/s" / "kbit/s" and calculate it as such (8 bits = 1 byte).

I think solution 2 is more in line with what is usually done for network speed.
