Deutschewelle, Phoenix and 3 Sat do not work

Deutschewelle does not work. Phoenix and 3 Sat do no work most of the time.

Root-cause unknown.

Umlaute

Umlaute are correctly rendered on ISO-8859-1 terminals but --- ironically --- not on UTF-8 terminals.

macOS's bash is too old

Mediathek depends on associate bash arrays. They have been introduced in bash 4 released in February 2009.

My macOS High Sierra 10.13 comes with bash version 3 and is therefore not supported.

Workaround: install your own version of bash, say via homebrew.
