Serve HTTPS links to Encore HTTPS clients
When a site is HTTPS and loads Encore via HTTPS, the Encore task may load an HTTP object, resulting in mixed content on the webpage and errors from some browser. See my website, loaded over HTTPS, for an example.
It seems like an easy fix would be for the task to check the referer to see if it is HTTPS, and return only HTTPS tests in those cases.
Thoughts, @sburnett? We can work on this if you think this is the right approach.
Add measurement task timeout
Some types of filtering take a very long time to timeout (e.g., several minutes), leaving the origin site hanging for a very long time. Measurement tasks should have some maximum duration, after which we terminate the load and send a failure.
Use client properties to schedule tasks
Right now, the scheduler doesn't consider properties of the client (e.g., the client's location, Web browser, etc.) when deciding which task to return for each request. It should.
Add API method for returning the currently running version
/version should return the git commit id of the running instance.
