How about?
adding a --for-project [projectName]
flag to seteditor
. It will be optional and when not added everything will work as it does right now.
It will look something like :
pm seteditor [commandToOpenEditor] --for-project [projectName]
[commandToOpenEditor]
and [projectName]
will be optional arguments and when not passed they will be asked as a list question.
I think this will look better and will be easy to implement and also will not break anything from the older versions.
I've started working on this in add-editor-forproject
branch and will put it up for beta test when I finish coding it.
Still, give your thoughts on this and if there's any way we can make it easier without breaking anything then do mention in comments.

This seems useful, are you going to make the editor and project name optional?
like:
pm seteditor --for-project
or for short
pm seteditor -p
these would prompt the list for both the editor and project name and the user can select from that.

yeah they will be optional
